Owing to their variety of uses, we have become increasingly complacent and reliant on #antibiotics. To mark the close of World AMR Awareness Week today, PACE, in partnership with Insider Media, held a special roundtable event looking at how Britain can help lead the fightback against AMR.Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) is one of the biggest global challenges to health. It has the potential to claim 10 million lives a year and create an economic impact loss of $100 trillion, and is currently outpacing our ability to find solutions to the problem. There is an urgent need to grow a pipeline of new antimicrobial tests and treatments to overcome the worldwide threat of AMR.#WAAW #WAAW2023 #AMR
