Cogwheel Planet Best Team

Legend of the Galactic Baseballer Stage 2 F2P Team

Best Team for Cogwheel Planet
Kafka Black Swan Herta Huohuo

Kafka, Black Swan, and Herta are Stage 2's trial characters.

For Cogwheel Planet, Kafka and Black Swan will be your main damage dealers since most enemies are weak to Lightning and Wind. Stage 2's Team Bonus increases DoT DMG, so it will be much easier for them to clear out enemies.

Herta is an additional source of damage to help bring down more Searing Prowlers faster. Finally, Huohuo can grant healing, ATK buffs, and Energy for the team.

Best Weapon Combo for Stage 2

Weapon and Accessory to Prioritize

Cogwheel Planet Stage 2 Guide | Honkai: Star Rail|Game8 (14) Thunderbolt Thorns Weapon Base Effect:
Applies DoT-dealing Thunderbolt Thorns to an enemy target. At the start of each turn, this enemy target receives Lightning DoT equal to 400% of base DMG, and the DMG bounces 3 times, dealing DMG equal to 50% of the original DMG. Thunderbolt Thorns will be transferred to another enemy target when the original target is defeated.
Cogwheel Planet Stage 2 Guide | Honkai: Star Rail|Game8 (15) Shockbolt Crown Legendary Weapon Effect:
Apply Shockbolt Crown to an enemy target. At the start of each turn, this enemy target receives Wind and Lightning DoT equal to 4,000% of base DMG. This DMG can trigger other DoT effects on the enemy target, dealing DMG equal to 100% of the original DMG. Then, this DMG Bounces 7 times, with the Bounce DMG equal to 50% of the original DMG, and the triggered DoT equal to 50% of the original DMG. Shockbolt Crown will be transferred to another enemy target when the original target is defeated.
Cogwheel Planet Stage 2 Guide | Honkai: Star Rail|Game8 (16) Lightning Storm Shackles Accessory Effect:
Wind and Lightning DMG dealt by allies and allied weapons increase by 30%.

Thunderbolt Thorns best makes use of Stage 2's Team Bonus effect, so it's better to prioritize leveling up this weapon first. However, you'll still want to balance this with getting other weapons for extra sources of damage.

Once you have Thunderbolt Thorns' Resonant Accessory, try to get Lightning Storm Shackles as well so that you can boost the Wind and Lightning DMG dealt by your team and weapons!

Other Recommended Weapons

Cogwheel Planet Stage 2 Guide | Honkai: Star Rail|Game8 (17) Sweet Slumber Base Effect:
Sweet Slumber is triggered when an ally or a weapon defeats an enemy target, dealing Quantum DMG equal to 60% of the defeated target's Max HP plus 300% of base DMG to adjacent enemy targets.
Cogwheel Planet Stage 2 Guide | Honkai: Star Rail|Game8 (18) Ranger's Longbow Base Effect:
After an ally attacks an enemy target using an Ultimate, the Ranger's Longbow fires 3 Wind Arrows. Wind Arrows deal Wind DMG equal to 300% of base DMG to a random enemy target and 25% AoE DMG to adjacent enemy targets.
Cogwheel Planet Stage 2 Guide | Honkai: Star Rail|Game8 (19) Everyone For Me Base Effect:
Summons "Everyone For Me" that has 110 SPD. When it takes action, fires 4 Flame Rounds, which deals Fire DMG equal to 400% of base DMG to a random enemy.

If you've already fully upgraded the best weapon for Stage 2 or don't encounter it in the randomized options, these weapons are good secondary choices as well!

These weapons will act as extra sources of damage to bring down multiple enemies much faster. Sweet Slumber and Ranger's Longbow are especially a lot more powerful once you get their Legendary versions.

How to Beat Cogwheel Planet

Deal AoE DMG with Extra Weapons

Cogwheel Planet Stage 2 Guide | Honkai: Star Rail|Game8 (24)

Cogwheel Planet often deploys many weaker enemies on the field, so picking up AoE weapons will help defeat them outside your team's regular turns and let you level up faster.

Once you have Thunderbolt Thorns' Legendary version, try to get and upgrade other recommended weapons like Sweet Slumber and Ranger's Longbow!

Defeat the Trotter Immediately

Cogwheel Planet Stage 2 Guide | Honkai: Star Rail|Game8 (25)

Stage 2 has a Sequence Trotter that will instantly raise your Team Level by 1 once you take it down. Defeat the Trotter before it escapes to quickly get more weapons or accessories!

Focus on Mobs Next to Elite Enemies
