Below are the walkthrough sections and objectives. Please note we may have added a few objectives ourselves to indicate the steps you need to take to complete the main objective.

Hotel Shop Gems
You can get every Hotel Shops gem immediately. All gem locations will be written in a blue box so scroll through for them to see what you're missing or scroll past them if you'd rather discover the answer to those puzzles yourself.Take the elevator to the Hotel Shops (Fl 5).
The revolving door on the left is locked so you’re going to need to get the key. Head to the right and enter the men’s restroom.
Use your suction shot to open the 2nd stall door (far right).
Now that you have the key, return to where the elevator is and continue to go left. Use the key and head through the revolving door.Continue to the left and go up the escalator. Once you’re at the top, head to the right to get the Diamond Key the security guard dropped.Return to the left and you’ll be in front of the gift shop, with the Spade icon it. Move towards the camera and you’ll reach a little gate with some shrubbery behind it. Using Luigi, do the burst move (ZL + ZR) to open the gate. Walk forward and to the right and through the door you can’t see. Move all the way to the right. Once again, you won’t really be able to see where you’re heading to but keep going right. Open the treasure chest for the silver gem.Enter the Jewelry Store and use the Diamond Key
Walk to the jewelry store with the Diamond Key icon outside of it (2nd floor, left).Only Gooigi can enter the shop because he can squeeze through the bars. Once you’re inside, put the key into the cash register.
Unsurprisingly, this causes ghosts to appear. As an added bonus try smashing them into the glass cases.Once the room is clear, pick up the Heart Key and head out.
Enter the Gift Shop and use the heart key
Head to the clothing store with the heart icon outside of it (1st floor, right). Slip through the door with Gooigi. Walk up the cash register and use the key on it.Use the Stobulb to flash the blinking green light that was behind the cash register.
Once you flash it, the wall will move and reveal a hidden area.
Approach the pile of coins and a bunch of mini ghosts will appear. Capture all of them to get the Spade key.
Enter the Gift Shop and use the spade key
Head inside the Gift Shop (2nd floor, right) by squeezing through with Gooigi.The cash register will vanish but you can use your Dark Light to reveal it again. Once you do, use the spade key to open it.Grab the clover key.
Several ghosts will appear so get ready to take them on. The ghosts with some sunglasses cannot be stunned right away.
Walk up to them and vacuum the glasses away first. Once they don’t have glasses on, you can stun them and capture them. Keep in mind, you can Slam a ghost into any ghosts (even those with sunglasses).
Club Door Puzzle: How to Enter the Barbershop
Go to the Barbershop with the club icon outside (1st floor, left). Unfortunately, the door is closed shut.Open the door by vacuuming the clover icons on each side of the scissors. You’ll need to use both Luigi and Gooigi to do this. Vacuum until each of the clovers spin, causing the scissors to spin too.Now Gooigi can slip into the shop.
Finally, use the key on the cash register. Then, grab the star key and simply walk out.
Stun Hammer with your Stobulb flashlight, the way you would with any other ghost.Then, walk behind Hammer to vacuum its little tail. There are 2 tails so you can do this with Gooigi too.Repeat this process until Hammer has been captured!
Head up the elevator and go to the hallway on the right. Enter the door using the key you just got.
The Hotel Shops Boss is a Security Guard. He’s wearing sunglasses, masks, etc and armed with a water gun - Gooigi’s weakness! Here’s how you to beat the security guard.You have to fight the Security Guard Boss as Gooigi because he’s the only one who can slip through the bars and get to him.Vacuum the glasses off of the Security Guard’s face. Make sure you’re close enough to actually suck it up.
While you’re doing this, the Security Guard will shoot water at you so be sure to keep moving to avoid it. Often times, the water arcs so you can see it coming.
Once nothing’s on his face, he’s vulnerable. Use your Strobulb to flash and stun the security guard. Then, vacuum and slam him around.Rinse and repeat until he’s captured.
Grab the elevator button and walkout.Remember, because Gooigi can’t walk through doors you’ll need to pick up the button as Luigi.Return to the elevator, install the button, and continue to the Mezzanine (Floor 2) to explore the restaurant.
