We enter all listings into our online music calendar, but because of time limitations, we cannot read all listings on the air.

WWOZ includes only live music events in our live music calendar online and on the air. We do not include the types of events listed below, unless they prominently advertise a live musical act or include a cross-over live music/performance:

  • Comedy acts
  • Burlesque
  • Non-musical plays
  • Community events without music
  • DJ's are listed online only

Please check out our Community Events listings where you can post listings for non-music events put on by community organizations!

For more information on our policy, check out our Music Calendar Policy page.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Submit events at least four days ahead to give us time to process them. Even earlier around festivals.
  • Before submitting a listing, please checkthemusic calendar to see if it's already there.
  • Remind us about weekly gigs each month.
